Had this idea stuck in my head for ages
finally placed it together and im glad of how it turned out.
"The mask of dominance was built by the Ancient Gods to their Chosen one, they could Dominate their Champion at Will, in exchange of Limitless power.
The Blades of Arrogance behind it are the Conduit on which the power is release form they body.
Once every 20 days the Champion has 3 options he can retain the mask for another 20 days and Continue to be a puppet, He can Remove but in exchange one of his beloved ones will die for every week he has it off. And finally, he can remove it, but all of his sanity will wither as fast as a winter blizzard, Thus Killing him instantaneously."
